In this section of scripture, Jesus ascends into heaven, after 3 days in the grave, a triumphant return to earth, and 40 days spent visiting his followers. He has brought them here together after three years of ministry, heartbreak and loss, and then finally a sense of wholeness again upon Jesus’ return. But what is their mission now? What has all of this meant over the past three years? What are they to do now? Jesus answers this question in this passage as he gathers all of his disciples to Him. As they anxiously anticipate his words, he tells them that they are to go into all of the world and make disciples of Jesus. This is a call to all believers, that they should go and share what they known with others. He knows that if you are a true disciple of him, you’ll be so excited and enthralled by the Lord that you will want to share your knowledge with others. This is our primary directive here on earth -- to make disciples of all men. This isn’t just a suggestion or an idea. This is our calling as Christians. If we truly want to be disciples of Jesus, we must spread the word to all other people. 

However, this is a call we often forget or try to ignore. Sharing our faith with others and evangelising can be awkward or uncomfortable, so it’s something we often neglect. It can be very difficult, and sharing your faith can be a hard thing. But evengelistic movies can realy help.
