Lucas Simmons (Toby Nichols) an 11-year-old filmmaker, is obsessed with death after the loss of his brother.  When Lucas accidentally captures a mysterious presence in one of his films, he inadvertently becomes a YouTube phenomenon.  A local author, Chris Brighton (Tim Meadows), becomes a mentor to Lucas, helping him navigate fame while teaching him how to embrace life and live to the fullest.  In the process, they both embark on life-changing journeys from celebrity to love and forgiveness.  Both heartwarming and hilarious, CHASING GHOSTS is an unforgettable family film about the importance of living every moment.
