High school senior Luke Harris has dreamed of being a pro surfer, but his parents want him to concentrate on picking a college. When Luke learns that a spot is opening on the local surf team, he sees his big chance to prove that he can make it as a surfer. However, Luke must first beat out the new surfing sensation, Matt, who has his eyes on the open spot.

When a devastating tragedy forces Luke to take a deeper look at life and faith, it's up to a youth pastor and a beautiful Christian woman named Emily to help Luke discover that there is more to search for than the perfect wave. Combining compelling cinematography and an upbeat soundtrack, Cutback is a faith-based story that earned The Dove Foundation's highest honor of five doves and is approved for ages 12 and over.
